Sky Art Desert Sculpture: Spanish Padre

Standing tall on the Galleta Meadows Estate in Borrego Valley, the huge sculpture of a Spanish Padre is a life-like depiction of one of the many inhabitants in the region from centuries ago. This full-sized structure holding a holy cross and a rosary is one of the many metal sculptures created by artist Ricardo Breceda in the region.
