Beim Fluss an den Four Courts befindet sich das Brazen Head, das als ältestes Pub in Europa gilt: Es feierte 1998 seinen 800. Geburtstag. Auch James Joyce war als Stammgast bekannt. In Ulysses machte er zwei Bemerkungen über ein "Brazen Head". Heute kann man hier etwas trinken, fabelhaft speisen und den traditionell irischen, improvisierten Musik-Sessions lauschen, die meistens am Wochenende stattfinden.
