With the opening of The Mermaid Museum in Berlin by Alyssa Maloof, a local photographer who converted her photo studio into an extraordinary mermaid site that just screams magic. A fun filled experience is what you will be part of once you enter the little door and take in the various facts and historical information displayed over the studio. Dress up at the door with any mermaid costumes that you like whilst you stroll over reading intriguing facts about mermaid sightings and clicking pictures with the figurines. Officially called Atlantic Avenue, but more well known as the Boardwalk, this great attraction was created in 1902 as a wooden walkway. As you walk down the boardwalk you'll find a lot of eateries and attractions, including Trimper's Carousel, the oldest continuously running carousel in the country! Enjoy the ocean views and go on a few rides.
With ivory white sand and turquoise waters, the Ocean City Beach makes a perfect setting for a fun day at the beach. The water here is safe for swimming and the shore is perfect for a friendly game of volleyball with your friends.
Trimper's Rides is a historic amusement park and is over 100 years old. The park has many indoor and outdoor rides and the park is fun for big groups and families, alike. There are some ride that families can ride together, some other rides for toddlers and thrilling rides for grown ups. The must see attractions here are The Big Merry Go Around which is a historic landmark, The Haunted House, Til-a-Whirl, Alladin's Lamp and Wild West Train. This beautiful Episcopal church was built in 1900 with the Carpenter Gothic style of architecture. The church was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2008 because of its historic and architectural significance. The church is fully functional even today and regular services are carried out.

Built in 1832, this house served as a residence to Issac Covington and Calvin B. Taylor. The house is currently operated as a museum where you can witness prominent 18th century architecture. The main wing of the house has been converted into a house museum and the west wing is converted into a gallery which displays local collectibles. The stained glass windows of the building is a magnificent feature of this structure. Guided tours of this facility are provided on request.
Built in 1876, Indian River Life Saving Service Station in Rehoboth Beach is a unique one. This museum houses some really amazing maritime artifacts and memorabilia. It was an important station for the United States Lifesaving Service back in the 1800s when many ships were rescued along the coast. The museum is designed quite beautifully and maintained with care offering the tourists a piece of history and time that is worth looking at.
