More such beautiful murals make an appearance throughout the restaurant, though on a less grander scale. The wood fired brick oven is the pride of the kitchen and dishes out some delectable pizzas. Bring in a wine of your choice to enjoy with these delights. Rat's Restaurant in the middle of the Grounds for Sculpture is a romantic venue complete with a pond, a beautiful garden with sculptures, outdoor seating and French food. Imagine walking into a fairyland and eating a meal there- this is just what happens at Rat's Restaurant. The name is inspired by a fictional character who loved to host parties in the book The Wind in the Willows. The menu comprises of Caramelized Scallops, Maple Cured Pork Tenderloin and Pocono trout. There is a cocktail lounge too, which serves some outstanding cocktails and wines- befitting a celebratory meal. They also host events which is a great idea given the beauty of the venue. Highly acclaimed brewers Mark Edelson and Kevin Finn started this brewery in CE 1994, only to merge as one of the best breweries in town. Not only the house beers but the food is delicious. It has many awards for its children's menu, proving that it knows how to keep kids happy. The Kid's Menu comprises of an assortment of healthy food like fish, fresh sandwiches and the popular Mint, Oreo Cookie. There are gluten-free meals too. Try the egg rolls which are quick to sell. The house beers include the mild Iron Hill Light Lager, Raspberry Wheat with a burst of raspberry and a medium Ironbound Ale.
