Erected in 1958, the station was conceived within the framework of Wright's vision for a transformative urban landscape. Duluth Depot is a historic train station that has been converted into a tourist attraction featuring several history museums, along with an art institute, art museum, a playhouse-theater combined and the North Shore Scenic Railroad. Offering a multi-generational experience with something for everyone, the Duluth Depot is the ideal spot for a school or college field trip, fun-filled family weekend getaway or corporate team-building excursion. Built in 1892, the depot was one of the major rail transport hubs in the US, serving seven rail lines for passenger and goods transport. Revamped and restructured, the station was reopened in 1973 to serve as a tourist attraction as the St. Louis County Heritage & Arts Center.

Located within the University of Minnesota Duluth Campus, the Tweed Museum of Art is a popular historical landmark for artists, students, educationists and tourists alike. First established in 1950, this arts museum features a permanent collection of 9000 artifacts belonging to varying cultural and historical periods of art history. The museum features nine galleries that cater to approximately 33,000 visitors on a day-to-day basis. The artistic works on display at this museum includes famous works of Charles Biederman, Anna Hyatt Huntington, Helen Turner, Thomas Hart Benton and Robert Priseman, among others.

Considered to be Duluth's oldest brewery, the Fitger Brewing Company not only attracts beer lovers, but also historians and travelers from all over the US. Situated on 600 East Superior Street, near Lake Superior, in Duluth, the entire brewing complex features ten buildings that includes the brewery, a brew house, the Barrel Room and a Grille. The Fitger Brewing Company was renowned for brewing some of the most flavorsome lagers and other local artisan craft beers from 1881 to 1972. The Grille restaurant at the brewing company features an extensive food menu that includes appetizers, salads, and Minnesota's favorite wild rice burgers, smoked fish wrap and bacon cheddar brat. Drinks on offer include root beers, growlers and apple cider, which are among the favorites.
