Beautifully green, with pathways and promenades and a beautiful reflecting pool with water mist and spray as it's main feature, the Promenade du Paillon is a wonderful addition to Nice's City Center. A green corridor in the heart of the city, the public park covers an area of 1.2 km (0.75 miles) stretching from the Promenade des Anglais to Theatre National. The water feature is especially captivating at sunset, when the setting sun reflects off the gleaming surface forming a perfect reflection making for an amazing photo op.

Moulin Alziari is a delightfully colorful and traditional grocer's shop in Nice. It's been around for so long that nobody remembers when it first started! The shop originally made its name mainly from olive oil. The oil press is, incidentally, still in the Boulevard de la Madeleine shop. There are also many other local specialties on offer with olives of course remaining the favorite ingredient. You can pick up olive oil-based soaps and seasoned olives among many other popular products.

Castel Plage is an iconic private beach located along the shore of Nice, boasting of clear blue water, pristine white sands and plenty of sunbeds where one can just relax with a book and soak in the sun, or dip into the serene water for a swim. The beach also has an on-site restaurant which serves beautifully presented seafood and provides one with a valuable seaside dining opportunity. Situated in the city's western suburbs, Allianz Riviera serves as one of the prime sports venues and the home turf of OGC Nice football team. Established in the year 2013, the stadium's inaugral tie was played between Valenciennes and Nice, which the hosts won 4-0. Apart from playing venue to OGC Nice's football fixtures, it also hosts home games of Toulon, a regional rugby club. Allianz Riviera is also one of the venues for high-ticket tournaments like the UEFA and Euro Championships.

Cave of Le Lazaret or the Grotte du Lazaret is an ancient cave, located in the town of Nice. The caves have a beautiful view of the Mediterranean Sea and are a major excavation site which have revealed bones of prehistoric animals and human settlements. Other discoveries on the site indicate primitive attempts at building some kind of residence. The cave is one of the most important archaeological site in the region.
