Located at the Ridge, the Chirst Church is the most popular attraction of Shimla. Built in 1857, this church is the oldest church in Shimla and the second oldest church in Northern India. Considered a historic heritage, the bright yellow building of the church dates back to the British Era and is believed to be the first church of the city. It is open all days but mass is held only on Sundays.
