Dogfish Head Craft Brewery is known for its extensive craft beers. Some of their selection is rarest of the lot, some are seasonal, and others are available throughout the year. They also brew beers that are exclusive to pubs, and Black & Red, Golden Era, etc are their hiatus brews. A tour of this state-of-the-art brewery gets one acquainted with the process of beer making and also lets guests sample the brews. Patrons can refill their growlers here or even buy pints to enjoy them at home. The brewery also houses a bar which is a perfect place to meet friends and sample a few beers along with delicious eats.
Housed inside a former Methodist church built in 1857, Milton Historical Society is an organization that aims to promote and create interest in local history. They manage a charming little local museum with incredible collections of artifacts, records, and photographs of value to the town. Milton Memorial Park is a beautiful public recreation site that sits gracefully along the Broadkiln river on union street. The park features walking tracks, a gazebo, well-mowed lawns, a playground with rides, and a splash pad for children. It gives a much-deserving, refreshing break from the routine. Frequented by the locals, this beautiful park also hosts town events and parties. The park has a lot of benches, picnic tables, and grills to enjoy a lovely day out.
Reconnect with nature at this absolutely wonderful sanctuary in Milton. Established in 1963, Prime Hook National Wildlife Refuge is popular among conservationists and birdwatchers. Located on a massive 10,000 acres (40-kilo meter square) of land with diverse habitats, including woodlands, undulating grasslands, marshes, and freshwater ponds. The park is home to a variety of birds, flora, and fauna; visitors are encouraged to explore the pristine surroundings by venturing into the nature trails. Additionally, fishing, hunting, and bird watching are common activities here.
