Seelye Mansion

Located in the beautiful city of Abilene, Seelye Mansion is a 20th-century historic house that was designed for Dr. A. B. Seelye. It is currently owned by Mr. Terry Tietjens, who purchased the house from the Seelye family. It has been now been converted into a tourist spot and is visited by a lot of locals and travelers. When in town, take an immersive tour of the house to admire ornate 20th-century architecture and furnishings, original Edison lighting fixtures, Haviland China pieces, Tiffany-cut mosaic fireplace, and a 1905 Box Ball alley.

Greyhound Hall Of Fame

As the name suggests, the Greyhound Hall of Fame of Abilene is dedicated to the greyhound breed of dogs. With two retired racing greyhounds greeting everyone at the entrance, the museum has displays exhibiting the breed's history, beginning from the ancient times. Dwight D. Eisenhower Presidential Library, Museum and Boyhood Home is a tribute to the 34th President of USA, Dwight D. Eisenhower.
