Moe's Original BBQ

Alabama natives and university mates, Mike Fernandez, Ben Gilbert and Jeff Kennedy realized their common passion for Southern culture, including barbecue and the blues, and joined forces to create Moe's Original BBQ. Under the culinary guidance of the legendary Moses Day, Mike learned the art of fire-roasting meat. This very distinct smokiness continues to be the signature flavor of Moe's award-winning cuisine. The menu features pulled pork, chicken wings, ribs and fruit-wood-fired specialties, served with delicious sides like "banana puddin'" and baked beans. Select your drink from the impressive bar and enjoy live music performances by established and emerging bands.

Felix's Fish Camp

Felix's Fish Camp Grill is well-known for its seafood. Dine on softshell crab, seafood gumbo, stuffed flounder, oysters any way you want them, and even turtle soup! Apart from the excellent food, a chief attraction is the panoramic location. The restaurant is situated on the water and has lovely scenic views of Mobile Bay. To make your visit memorable, book seats around sunset time. There's also a souvenir shop and a boat house bar where you can enjoy live music.

The Blind Mule

Be on the look out for a brick red building with a black mule painted on the side while driving down North Claiborne Street. This lovely restaurant specializes in Cajun and Creole cuisine such as the "Jackass" chicken sandwich, Bayou burger, Cajun boudin wrap and Blind Mule Bake being poplar favorites. Dine outside under scattered umbrellas in a lively courtyard that features hand-painted murals and a quaint water fountain. The rustic and minimal interior conveys a warm and cozy atmosphere. The upstairs attic comes alive with an eclectic music scene that sees local live bands perform occasionally.

T.P. Crockmiers

In 1895 Thaddeus P. Crockmier manifested his dream of opening a unique dining establishment in Atlanta. The institution eventually made its way to downtown Mobile complete with its award-winning menu and top-rated brunch. Timeless American favorites on offer include burgers, sandwiches like the Club Croissant and Monte Cristo, and delicious salads and appetizers.
