Visit the Coopersville Area Historical Society and Museum to know more about the town in the earlier century. The museum was previously known as Grand Rapids, Grand Haven and Muskegon Railway Depot until it was acquired by the Historical Society. Built in the year 1902, the station was used by the United Light and Railway Company. After complete restoration and renovation the building was then opened as museum in the year 1991. It has been listed on the U.S National Register of Historic Places as well as the Michigan State Historic Site.
