Created in 1934 as the Coconut Grove Bayfront Park, it was renamed Peacock Park in 1973 and sits surrounded by the bay, Barnacle Park, Coconut Grove Library, and the marina. The heart of the Grove, this park is the venue for many events, from concerts, sports games, and art festivals to Symphony Orchestra and Grovetoberfest. The 9.4-acre (3.8-hectare) area includes a baseball field, basketball court, tennis court, playground, and skatepark.

Camp Owaissa Bauer located on 199 woodland acres, facility features six cabins that accommodate up to 150 overnight campers.
