The historic Weeden House has occupied its current location since the early 19th Century. A fine example of the Federal architectural style, this property served as the residence of Maria Howard Weeden among its many owners. Today the historic building as been converted into a museum that lends valuable insights into the life of the Maria Howard Weeden, through her poems and other memorabilia. The surrounding garden ,too, is a peaceful retreat that's perfect for some quiet contemplation after a tour of the house.

A part of Earlyworks Museum Complex, Alabama Constitution Village consists of a post office, cabinetmaker's shop, law office, land surveyor's office, print shop and also a residence. These structures provide the visitor an insight into the life of the 19th century. Moreover, this site also serves as a host to the Santa's Village event annually, which is known to attract people all over from Alabama. These aforementioned features led to the inclusion of the Alabama Constitution Village in the Alabama Register of Landmarks and Heritage in October 1975.

Named after the Spanish terminology for 'Mountain of Health', the Monte Sano State Park is a scenic natural oasis nestled on the slopes of Monte Sano Mountain. It is spread over 2,140 acres (866 hectares) and offers breathtaking mountainous trails for biking and hiking. The trails lead to scenic overlooks, tranquil streams, and rock formations. The park also offers scenic waterside and forest areas for camping. It is home to a diverse array of wildlife, making its a splendid haven for wildlife enthusiasts and birdwatchers.
