Established in 1995, this museum is a tribute to Nutcrackers featuring more than 6000 distinct specimens of varying sizes and designs. The co-founder of the museum, Arlene Wagner developed a fondness for nutcrackers while attending ballet lessons under her mentor Alexandra Danilova and converted her passion into her livelihood by opening her very own nutcracker museum. A local celebrity, her nutcracker collections have attained legendary status, making this a must-visit place for Nutcracker fans. When in Leavenworth, the museum is a lovely attraction for kids, who will love looking at their favorite characters. The museum also organizes activities like Nutcracker Hunt, where they can roam the museum and hunt for nutcrackers.
