A long, narrow room with some live rock soul, funk and jazz. Ortlieb's Lounge is always packed and tables are at a premium in this mid-sized venue. Though it's a bit cramped, patrons are willing to sacrifice some elbow room for the live music. Peel & eat shrimp, Buffalo Blue Salads and Ortlieb's tacos are served along with a side of live music seven nights a week.
Known locally as the "700 Club," this converted two-story house offers plenty of drinking and dancing to anyone wanting to mingle with people of the trendy club/underground/art scene. The first floor contains a large wooden bar and standing room only, while the upstairs is strewn with vintage, and not so vintage, couches and chairs.
