No other palatial home of this style in Idaho, other than the McConnell Mansion, has survived the test of time. The spacious porch, the high bay windows, and the shingle-clad exteriors of the McConnell Mansion exemplify the unique design and leave the visitors awe-struck with their aesthetics.

Along Interstate 195, perched atop a hill, is a fascinating landmark, the Junk Castle. Built by the eccentric American artist Victor Moore, this unique structure is constructed using an assortment of scrapped and recycled material. This quirky citadel, replete with washing machine doors for windows, served as the abode of the newly married couple Bobbie and Victor Moore. Although a private property, the castle attracts droves of curious travelers who stop by to marvel at the unique creation.

Take a leisurely stroll at Moscow's East City Park, a 7-acre splendor complete with picnic spots, water fountains, basket and volleyball courts, and horseshoe pits. The park also hosts two festivals and a fair every year.
