Away from the busy roads and bustling human population, the northernmost region of Velebit Mountain, the largest mountain in Croatia is covered by the picturesque National Park Sjeverni Velebit. Established in 1999, the Park covers an area of 109 square kilometers (42.08 square miles) and consists of some of the most ecologically valuable and interesting species and habitats. It offers exceptional hiking opportunities and the well-marked trails run through lush mountain forests, botanical gardens and wide landscapes and meadows. A must visit for trekking enthusiasts.

Located in the tourist town of Vrbnik, Potovošće is a beautiful sandy beach surrounded by pine trees. Rab is a town located on the island of Rab. It is a popular tourist destination, known for its beautiful beaches, crystal-clear waters, and the historic Old Town. Bird lovers come to the island to spot the endangered Eurasian Griffon vulture, while other visitors seek out idyllic lanes that lead from one picturesque village to the next.
