The Tower Station and U-Drop Inn building is an uncommon example of Art Deco architecture. Located on historic Highway 66, the building, in times past, was a major attraction and served as a gas station and café, only to be abandoned after the deactivation of Route 66. Now a property of Shamrock City and home to a museum and a visitor center, they serve good coffee and delicious pastries early morning. The sandwiches are sumptuous. The selection of ice cream flavors is impressive, and they serve waffle cones as well. The hot fudge sundae on brownie is divine. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Go, grab some Route Panini and Meatball Panini, or lap up some ice cream! This one’s a winner all the way.
