Mary's Rock

Mary's Rock is a prominent mountain peak that towers above the picturesque landscape of Shenandoah National Park. There are two main trails that lead to the summit of Mary's Rock: the challenging Appalachian Trail and the relatively easier Mary's Rock Trail. The Mary's Rock Trail is a 1.2-mile (1.93 kilometers) one-way trail that ascends the mountain from the Meadow Spring parking area. At the summit of Mary's Rock, there is a stone observation platform that provides unobstructed views of the surrounding landscape. Visitors can take in the views, have a picnic, or simply relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
