Cedar Creek Battlefield, also known as the Battle of Belle Grove, is a place that brings to life the history of Shenandoah Valley. The Cedar Creek Battlefield marks the location of that infamous 1864 campaign which was a crushing defeat of the Confederates and their last attempt to invade the Union during the Civil War.
