Located close to the cape Cabo da Roca, Ursa Beach is regarded as the westernmost beach of Europe. The imposing cliffs are the source of panoramic views of the beach. The beach is marked by granite and Ursa rocks. Moreover, during low tides contiguous coves namely, Pesqueiro do Abrigo (north) and Palaia (south) are visible. Thanks to the aforementioned features, Ursa Beach was declared by Michelin Guide as one of the world's beautiful beaches.

Thousands of acres of protected woodland, Monsanto Forest Park offers the perfect escape from sprawling urban environments. Landscaped to include a variety of wild flora and fauna, this park was created in 1934. Besides hiking and bird watching, there is a lot you can do. The lookout point offers a splendid panoramic view of the ancient city, the Tagus River and the Atlantic. Leisure spots include the Ecological Park and Monsanto Municipal Camping Park. Concerts, exhibitions, fairs and other big events are a regular affair.

Established around 1853, this beautiful garden brings much needed fresh air, in the otherwise hot city. Located a stones throw away from the Botanic Gardens, this place is a perfect spot to unwind, after a long afternoon or sight seeing or shopping. Shady trees, picnic benches and a play area adorn this garden, where you can spread your mats and relax in the tranquil atmosphere. Just about 2.47 acres (1 hectare) in size, this lovely garden hosts a farmers market on Saturday, where you can drop by to witness the local essence of Lisbon or to shop the organically grown produce. A statue of poet Antero de Quental, also graces the garden, among other attractions.

Mejor conocido como 'Palácio da Vila', este monumento se encuentra en el centro histórico de Sintra. Es uno de los símbolos de esta romántica aldea, debido a sus enormes chimeneas.
