Getting to the Observation Point at Zion National Park requires determination and fortitude. The trail is quite steep and can get tiring, the total duration is approximately 5 hours. After heavy rains, the waterfalls running down the canyon are majestic, and you can look out over Angels Landing from this vantage point as well as enjoy the walk through Echo Canyon. From April 1st until October 30th a shuttle is available from the Zion Canyon Visitor Center to Weeping Rock. The rest of the year, you can drive to the parking lot and start there.

Beginning at Zion Lodge, this landscaped trail is short stretch that loops the Grotto picnic area to Zion Lodge. Grotto Trail offers wonderful vistas and is an easy trek for everyone. It also has a trailhead which leads to many other trails such as the Kayenta Trail, Emerald Pools and more. This trail is often visited by hikers as it gives a good view of the canyons. Stretching across six miles (9.66 kilometers), it was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1986. Even if you are not an avid hiker, you will like this easygoing trail.
