El Puente Liberty se encuentra en el bellísimo ParqueFalls sobre el río Reedy, un espacio precioso que sirve de telón de fondo para este puente de 114 metros. El arquitecto de Boston Miguel Rosales diseñó la estructura, que costó 4.5 millones de dólares aportados por los ciudadanos. El puente es único ya que cuenta con un diseño curvo y está sostenido por cables y sogas sujetas a vigas que forman ángulos poco convencionales. Si lo cruzan, podrán apreciar unas vistas preciosas de las pequeñas cascadas y los edificios modernos escondidos entre el verde del parque. Tras sacar fotos, salgan por el lado oeste, tomen la calle S. Main, doblen a la izquierda y visiten el histórico West End de Greenville.

This area includes many historical structures from Saluda’s past. Dating between late 19th and early 20th century, these buildings primarily show Late Gothic Revival and Stick style architecture. With most of the buildings listed in the National Register of Historic Places, Saluda Main Street Historic District is one of the top attractions in the city.

Fondly known as the heart of Hendersonville, the historic downtown area is a vibrant neighborhood. At Silvermont Mansion and Park, a 33-room mansion forms the centerpiece of a lush green park around it. Once a home to the Silversteens family, the colonial revival style mansion was built in the early 20th-century. Visitors can access the mansion and see some amazing displays from the bygone era when the family stayed here. The 8-acre (3.23-hectare) property also includes multiple gardens and walking trails within its boundaries.
