The Nicholas-Zaretsky Church of Tula is a beautiful historic church founded by the famous industrialist and noble family of Demidov. Built in the early 18th Century, it features remarkable Petrine Baroque style of architecture with beautiful pastel painted walls, ornate stone carvings and a prominent curved roof. It is surrounded by many side chapels housing beautiful paintings of saints and icons, and a prominent bell tower which has similar architectural features as the church. The Demidov family crypt is located inside a chapel on the grounds of the church.

Located in Tula, Russia, Yasnaya Polyana is an estate which also contains the home of iconic writer and playwright Leo Tolstoy. Tolstoy has penned Anna Karenina, War and Peace, among other celebrated novels. When Tolstoy resided here, the estate of Yasnaya Polyana was spread across nearly 16 square kilometers (4000 acres) of land area, on a sloped hillside and surrounded by lush green forest and a few ponds. Today, Tolstoy's house in the Yasnaya Polyana estate is preserved the same way as it was when he died in the year 1910. The earliest structure on Yasnaya Polyana estate is Volkonskiy house. Nikolai, Tolstoy's grandfather, lived here.

The Arsenal Stadium of Tula is the home venue of the FC Arsenal Tula football club. Built in 1959, it has a seating capacity of 20,048 spectators. An athletic track border the grass football field and is regularly used for training and local matches.
