Above the beautiful village of Splügen, the ruins of this once magnificent castle stands tall. The winged building still stands, with the walls on three sides being quite intact. Of particular note is the elevated entrance with the massive Gothic arch. The ruins can be reached via a short trek up a hill, which also offers great views of the valley below.

Katholische Pfarrkirche St. Sebastian

Katholische Pfarrkirche St. Sebastian is a baroque church in the Swiss village of Dardin. The new building of this church was built at the end of the 17th century in place of the old building whose origins are unknown. The consecration of the three wooden altars in this new building took place in 1716. It is a two-bay church with a recessed choir. It has square windows, a southside tower, and an onion-shaped dome. It was last renovated in 1916 and a new vestibule was added to this building in 1925. It is a peaceful place to visit, pray, and reflect.

The mountain lies between the valleys of Maderanertal, Linth and Val Russein and a tripoint between the canton of Uri, the canton of Glarus and the canton of Graubunden. The view of Todi and Dussi can be seen from Piz Cazarauls. Ascent to the summit can be achieved via Planurahütte.
