As if that wasn't enough, High Point actually has two giant chests of drawers. The other is built onto the side of a building in the Furniture land South complex and stands about 80 feet (24 meters) tall.

On this particular site back in 1767. he opened up an academy for young men. All told, Caldwell once owned these 550 acres where his home and academy used to stand in Greensboro, and where the park now sits. This history of this land is synonymous with Greensboro.

Admission is free, however donations are encouraged and appreciated.

Deep River Friends Meeting House and Cemetery is one of the foremost cemeteries across the Guilford County. Though the earliest marking dates back to 1803, this cemetery is deemed to be in existence much before that. The Deep River Friends Memorial Association preserves and maintains this historical burying ground.
