Temple Performing Arts Center is one of Philadelphia's latest developed centers for events and arts. It was designated so in 2003 and the building is known to date back to the 19th Century. The center encourages new talent and also invites visitors to take a tour of the center. The place is affiliated with the Temple University.

Housing a collection of over 300 animals that reflect 100 species altogether is the Elmwood Park Zoo. Built between 1906-1908, the George Sharswood School is a Colonial Revival style structure. The brick and stone institute has been an esteemed elementary school in the neighborhood of Whitman for several decades now. A part of the Philadelphia Public Schools, it has been a designated historic site since 1988.
Incorporated in the National Register of Historic Places in 1997, the Paoli Battlefield Site and Parade Grounds was the location of the historic ‘Paoli Massacre’ during the American Revolutionary War in 1777. This site is also home to several war monuments like Paoli Massacre Monument, World War I monument and also has a World War II urn.
