A relatively new addition to the Thomas Jefferson University, Dorrance H. Hamilton Building, inaugurated in 2007 is the bastion of the school's medical department. Comprising of an auditorium with state-of-the-art facilities as well as well-designed classrooms, the building functions as both an event center and a school for training the future doctors of the country. With a reddish hue and a steely, glass facade, the impressive, modern building can be admired in passing as one cruises down Locust Street.
