While most of them were sold as scrap by the owners, others were preserved and now find their way into this heritage museum. The house had a Georgian style of architecture. It got listed on the National Registrar of Historic Places on April 22, 1976.

Located in the heart of Indiana is a beautiful house museum called, 'The Jimmy Stewart Museum.' The museum highlights the life story and achievements of this Oscar winning Actor and military hero. The museum has several exhibits that covers about his life in Indiana, his personal life and his movie career. You can also view some of his movies in a replica of the then 1930's movie theater.
